World of Warships Bring a Large Number of Changes

World of Warships, the online warship game in the series of vehicular war games from Wargaming (World of Tanks and World of Warplanes), has had its share of excitement and play from its fans. For the first time, a trailer for the console version of the title was shown off, now titled as World of Warships: Legends. The title offers no less than 20 commanders, 50 ships and 15 cards, which means that the players will have something to do. Wargaming recalls that this version for home consoles was developed specifically for PS4 and Xbox One, it is not a simple port of the PC version. Players can benefit from an interface and controls adapted to consoles, while the 4K will be arriving this summer on PS4 and Xbox One X Pro.

World of Warships Doubloons

Following up on recent relaunch of the aircraft carrier line of naval ships in World of Warships, Wargaming is pleased to announce that British aircraft carriers will be added to the game, expanding upon the currently available US and Japanese Carrier lines. World of Warships will soon be able to take the fight underwater when submarines launch during the upcoming Halloween event. During the event, players will be able to check out some spooky subs while exploring the undersea world. After the conclusion of the event, Wargaming will be checking out the new feature to “evaluate how best to completely integrate submarines into World of Warships permanently”.

From today, players can take part in the daily competition “Victory”. Having taken one of the parties (Honor or Glory), when defeating an enemy, users receive allowance tokens that can be exchanged for Soviet Lazo level VII premium cruiser and Victory camouflage. Or Lutbox, which can be one of the four Soviet battleships. Every day problem for the winning team will be more difficult, but the rewards more valuable.

World of Warships has been updated to bring a large number of changes to the sturdiness of the game’s Destroyers. These ships will become more durable in battle thanks to a series of buffs. Captains will also see “multiple changes to maps to aid in maneuverability and lines of sight”. The trailer does not show much, but we do get a quick glimpse at the gameplay. The real meat of this announcement was in the press release. The commanders that are on the PC version of the game, along with their unique play styles and perks, will be present in World of Warships: Legends. In addition, there will be gameplay changes overall, which will give console players a custom experience, and the game engine has been re-worked to utilize the current generation of consoles hardware.
